135 specialists and researchers from Russia and abroad have applied to participate in the Workshop. Among them are specialists in physics from leading research centres of Russia, including:
- Skobeltsyn Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University;
- Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (in Dubna);
- National Research Center «Kurchatov Institute» (in Protvino);
- Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Science and some others;
Also among the participants are physicists representing Lomonosov Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Samara State University. 13 participants represent Demidov Yaroslavl State University.
Among international delegates are scientists from Germany, Italy, the USA, India, the UK, Spain, China, France, Canada, Austria, Serbia, Hong Kong, Egypt.
The working programme of the Workshop covers most significant spheres of the contemporary Particle Physics and Cosmology, including
- research on Higgs boson and research for new physics with the Large Hadron Collider, -
- extensions of the Standard Model and their phenomenological consequences at the Large Hadron Collider and future colliders,
- Collider Physics connections to Astroparticle/Cosmology
We expect the Workshop in Yaroslavl will stimulate information exchange in the field of Particle Physics and Cosmology and will be a next step in further understanding of fundamental laws of nature.
