YSU – a participant of the U.S. – Russia Peer-to-Peer Dialogue Program

The Centre of Multiuser “Micro-and Nanosrtuctures Diagnostics” Equipment takes part in the international U.S.-Russia Peer-to-Peer Dialogue Program. Of 200 applications in 2013 only 22 obtained support including the project “Innovative Ways to Interactive Online Engineering: US-Russia Partnership for Research and Education in Energy Materials” presented by the teams of University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland http://www.umd.edu/, Moscow State Technical University of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automatics, and P.G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University. Within the project the students majoring in “Electronics and Nanoelectronics” will be taught the fundamentals of X-ray structure and X-ray phase analysis in the form of laboratory work using ARL X’tra, virtual labs, webinars, and on-line discussions.
