Nuruddin Farah in India (on the Way to Europe)

Abstract: The Somali writer N. Farah spent most of his life outside of his native country. The four-year stay in India, experience of the culture of another country and traditions of different peoples left a noticeable mark on the creative mentality of N. Farah. It was in India that he wrote the first novel, there he began his development as a writer defending democratic ideals, ideals of humanism, peace and justice.

The Gender History of African London in Modern Times

Abstract: The article describes the evolution of the gender identity of the African segment of London during two centuries (the end of the XVI – the end of the XVIII century). Social Propaganda in Soviet Russia in 1917–1920-ies: Ideas, Forms, Results

Abstract: The article discusses the features of social propaganda, held in post-revolutionary Russi. The author’s attention focuses on a number of ideas that formed the basis of social propaganda and aimed at a radical transformation of society – women’s emancipation, reform of family life, the education of the “new man.” In addition, it shows the role of propaganda in solving urgent problems, particularly in the organization of social care for children.

The Supporting Efforts of the Society of Slavic Reciprocity during the Balkan Wars (1912–1913)

Abstract: In this paper the author considers the directions and capacity of activity of the Society of Slavic reciprocity during the Balkan wars. It had two facets: charity and enlightenment. The public activities of the Society had a clear anti-Austrian character as by those actions the government was criticised. At the end of 1912 the meetings of the Society were suspended by the police. In order to collect clothes and cash donations the Society for Slavic Reciprocity created Ladies’ Committee. The major part of the donations were sent to Serbia during the first Balkan war. After the Treaty of Bucharest (1913) was signed, the Society of Slavic Reciprocity has reduced its activities.

Features of Definition and Classification of Financial Crimes in Modern Science of Penal Law

Abstract: The given work presents the analysis of the debatable issues of a place and a role of financial crimes in the penal law. The author exposes to criticism attempts to formulate a definition of financial crimes proceeding from the general concept of a crime or making a start only from types of objects in the penal law «on a vertical». Also problems of differentiation of criminal liability for financial crimes by the example of the qualifying circumstances are disclosed.

Legal Effects of the Loss of the Bill

Abstract: The author explores the concepts of the loss and the abolition of the bill, describes legal effects of the loss of the bill. He compares the system of the amortization with the system of the abeyance of the payment. The system of the abeyance of the payment was fixed in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation in 2013. According to the author the loss of the bill does not result in the termination of the right certified by the security

Features of Use of Definitions in the Labour Legislation: Historical and Legal Aspects

Abstract: The article is devoted to consideration of the main features of use of legal definitions in fundamental acts of the Russian labor legislation (The Charter on industrial labour of 1913, and also Codes of laws on labour of 1918, 1922, 1971). In the article the author draws conclusions concerning the factors defining specifics of use of definitions in fundamental acts of the labor legislation.

Role of Citizens and Public Chambers in the Formation of Public Councils in the Regions of the Russian Federation: a Comparative Study

Abstract: The article describes the results of research aimed at the analysis of the regulatory framework, providing for a mechanism of formation of public councils under the executive power in the regions of Russian Federation. As part of a comparative study the author reveals best practices considering the opinions of citizens and the Public Chambers of Regions to create public councils. In the article the author compares by several criteria models of the formation of public councils enshrined in the regional regulatory frameworks.

Systemogenesis Game Activities

Abstract: The article presents an attempt to implement the concept of systemogenesis against the research-development of one of the leading types of activity – a game. The author formulate a new theoretical and methodological approach to solving this problem, discloses a common type of systemogenesis game activities. He identified and interpreted its specificity in relation to the genesis of the other main types of activity – professional and academic.

Psychological Fact in the Mirror of Philosophy, Psychology and Philosophy of Science

Abstract: There are no researches on the problem of the fact in psychology. The fact is traditionally interpreted as the result of observation and experiment, not allowing polysemantic interpretation. It contradicts widely known situations when the fact is estimated and interpreted in different ways. The article claims a possibility to solve the problem of the fact only considering it in the relationship with other methodological categories. A new approach to the analysis of the fact is being formed: consideration of the fact should be included into the integrative methodological conception. It is stated that psychology needs a level approach to the interpretation of the fact.

Periodization of Professional Growth: Polycycle Approache

Abstract: The article analyzes the main types of periodization of professional growth: developmental, professionalogenetic, quality, status and mixed. It is noted that the existing periodization experiences hard-hitting attacks of both theorists and practitioners. On the basis of this analysis is the prospect of creating an effective periodization based on the principles of sistemogenetic approach.

Specificity of Identification of Teenage Audience Differentiated by Gender with Advertising Characters

Abstract: Teenagers are considered by marketing specialists as malleable audience, from which they can “grow” the active consumer. The question is how in the construction of “self-image” teenagers are focused on advertised characters? According to the results of empirical research shows that the identification of adolescents with the characters of advertising is indirect, mediated. Selecting the character of advertising as a basis for identifying is caused not by a gender; significant is only the contents of the affective, load of the object.

Research on Automatic and Controlled Information Processing in Case of Schizophrenia

Abstract: In order to examine information processing in case of schizophrenia we compared performance of 15 patients with paranoid schizophrenia and 15 healthy subjects in two visual search tasks. No significant differences were found for ether task suggesting that automatic and controlled processing remained intact in examined patients. We developed a task in “inattentional blindness” paradigm which was supposed to contain feature and conjunction search. For 9 healthy subjects who completed the task no “inattentional blindness” effect was found

Empirical Study of Religion in the Structure of Personality Traits

Abstract: The research has brought to light a framework of correlations between religiosity and personality traits. The research has determined positive correlations between religiosity and reflexivity, positive self-reference, sociability, self-control, femininity. Religiosity shows negative correlations in reference to psychological mindedness, and internal locus of control. It has proved to have the most significant structural position in the framework.

Professional Formation of Subjects in the Conditions of External Constraints

Abstract: The author gives an analysis of the penal system employees’ work characterized by the following factors: 1) working in conditions of reforming the penal system; 2) working with prisoners; 3) external constraints of working space; 4) regional situation, which prevents the full development of the career in a small town; 5) hard legal regulation of work. There are some hypotheses related to the specific dynamics of professional development and styles of business communication of colony’s employees.
