The Intramural Stage of the III International Chess Tournament "Demidov Cup" was held at YarSU

Last weekend, the competition brought together the students who showed the best results in online competitions. The teams of 11 universities of the country met at the chessboards!
Before the face-to-face stage, every month the participants competed on the international platform lichess.org and improved their playing skills during the year.
YarSU students won the "gold" - the first prize of the tournament.
Elizaveta Mokshanova, Social and Political Sciences Faculty student, made a special contribution to the victory, having won the second place in the individual competition among all rivals.
