P.G. Demidov YaroslavlState Universityis the only higher education institution of the Yaroslavl Region that isreckoned one of the first hundred of the best higher education institutions of Russia.
The site http://www.univer-rating.ru/ of thenational universities rating publishes the results of the Russian higher education institutions monitoring. Therating involved 161 higher educationinstitutions, 74 of them beingclassical universities. P.G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University ranked 51st.
The main criteria of estimation were educational and research activities.
