Provincial establishment of the Upper Volga in the period of the preparation and implementation of the reform of 1861

Abstract: Grounding on the sources and literature the author provides a comprehensive description of the preparation and implementation of the Peasant Reform in the Upper Volga region of Russia, which included Vladimir, Kostroma, Tver and Yaroslavl provinces. The analysis of the situation in the region has shown that the abolition of serfdom did not withdraw from the agenda critical problems in the relations between landlords and peasants.

«An Earnest Appeal for Mercy»: Jonas Hanway and the History of social policy in England

Abstract: The article studies the intellectual heritage and the activity of Jonas Hanway, the 18th century English philanthropist. It analyzes Hanway's key works on poverty, misery and poor relief, as well as his practical contribution to child care, the relief of the fallen women and the improvement of living conditions in the workhouses. It is concluded that Hanway contributed to the balancing of the general negative attitude of English elites towards poor relief and priorities in social policy.

Administrative Measures for Keeping Cultural Heritage in Soviet Russia in 1920s

Abstract: The article is devoted to the peculiarities of keeping cultural heritage in the 1920-es in Soviet Russia – the period of a very controversial time as far as monument conservation is concerned. Cultural heritage was put under protection by rule of the legislative acts. But in the course of industrialization many antique and art monuments were destroyed.

Abstract: The article considers Roman contiones’ database creation principles. Methods and examples of its application for research of this political institution’s developmental dynamics are examined. Contribution of Soviet Public to Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments in the middle of 1960s – the beginning of 1970s (by an example of the Yaroslavl region)

Abstract: This article gives the results of research on the role of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments in protection of historical and cultural monuments in the middle of the 1960-es – the beginning of the 1970-es. Using an example of Yaroslavl regional branch activities forms of public involvement in protection of national heritage are given. Many documental resources serve for the first time as research materials.

Social Structure of Public Charity Serving Orders in the Last Quarter of the XVIII – First Half of the XIX Century (by materials on provinces in the Upper Volga region)

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of social structure of public charity serving orders in the last quarter XVIII – first half XIX centuries, i.e. all period of their existence. On the basis of the archival materials revealed in state archival storehouses of the Kostroma, Tver and Yaroslavl regions, the representation of various estates in system of local official bodies of a social orientation is characterized, the parity of educational level and religion of employees of the given department is presented.

The system of teaching in driving schools, level of preparation and social maintenance of cadets is investigated on the basis of archival materials revealed in the National archive of the Komi Republic and other sources.

Electronic Educational Resource: Estimation of Needs for it by Potential Consumers

Abstract: The article is dedicated to an analysis of pilot projects during the development of new generation of educational technologies - electronic educational complexes. The main purpose is is to find students opinion of introducing into curricular a new educational program «Russian Language and Culture of Speech». The results of a survey show that innovative educational resources are valued by students as potential consumers of this kind of information.

Problems of Parity of All-Union and Republican Legislations on Labour in the USSR in 1920s

Abstract: The article is devoted to the formation of the labour legislation from emerging of the USSR through the first years of its existence. The author shows difficult and inconsistent process of formation of the co-ordinated system of standard legal certificates in a federative state. The attention is drawn to the fact that problems of a parity of the all-union and republican legislations on labour issues in 1920s first of all were caused by dynamism of labour relations, by shortage of necessary experience of actors making laws and a spontaneity of development prospects of the labour legislation in inconsistent conditions of the New Economic Policy.

On Means of Differentiation of Criminal Liability in General and Especial Parts of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

Abstract: In the article various approaches to development of the concept of means of differentiation of responsibility in criminal law are investigated. Lists of such means in General and Especial part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation are analyzed. The authors propose to transfer some qualifying circumstances typical for many crimes structures from Especial to the General part of the Code.

On Formal Essence of a Crime structure

Abstract: The essence of a crime structure is revealed in the article. The author proves that the crime structure is an embodiment of a sign criminal breaking of the law, and public danger lies behind its frameworks. On this basis the conclusion is made that insignificant act contains crime structure but is not a crime due to the absence of a public danger property.

The Main Types of Consensus in Group Decision-Making Processes

Abstract: The author presents the analysis of the current state of research on the consensus problem in the social psychology and the psychological theories of decision making. The main difficulties and contradictions that constrain further development of research in data-connected domain are identified. A new theoretically sound and practically validated two-dimensional classification of main types of consensus in decision-making group decisions is given. A new interpretation of the phenomena of selection processes in different types of consensus is proposed. The directions for synthesis of the conceptual ideas formulated in the psychology of small groups and in the psychological theory of decision making are outlined.

Typology of Trajectories of Psychology Students Professional Development in Educational Space of High School

Abstract: The article based on the outcomes of research presents 7 types of trajectories of professional development of psychology students in educational space of higher school. Distinctions of personal features of students whose professional development goes along constructive and non-constructive trajectories of professional development are shown. The typology can be used not only for an estimation of productivity of preparation of psychologists in the higher school, but also in the system of work on professional development support of students at different grade levels.

The Subjective Wellbeing in the Structure of Personality Traits

Abstract: The study describes the place and the role of personality traits that determinate subjective wellbeing of an individual. The data received by usage of a screening scale of the subjective wellbeing are compared to the basic personality traits (within the limits of a «big five» conception). It was discovered that basic clusters of the subjective wellbeing are caused by the personal peculiarities in different ways. It opens up possibilities to offer personal assistance when a person applies for the psychological help.

Structural Organization of the Block of Personal Meaningful Characteristics of Various Types of Professions Specialists

Abstract: In the article are considered questions of the structural organization of personal meaningful characteristics block of the various types of professions specialists’ personality: «human – human», «human – sign system» and «human – technics». Process of professional formation of a personality and its transformation is a difficult hierarchically organized metasystem with its levels and interrelations between them. The four-factor activity theory of a personality has been put into a basis of the empirical research. At a certain stage of professionalization a kind of integrative substructure of personal meaningful characteristics block is formed, bring various for representatives of various types of professions.

Long-Term Research on Mnemonic Abilities of Junior School Children with Developmental Delays

Abstract: The results of a long-term research on mnemonic abilities of 8–12 year old children with developmental delays are presented. Applying a method of formation of mnemonic activity it is revealed that the structure of mnemonic abilities of 8–12 year old children with developmental delays is underdeveloped due to almost absence of operational mechanisms. Memory functions due to inborn mechanisms. Some children differ by certain underdevelopment of perceptive abilities and attentional abilities. Operational mechanisms of mnemonic abilities of 8–12-year old students with developmental delays are at early stages of the formation. When analyzing results the effect of inability to copy a simple nonverbal material after its correct reproduction is revealed.

On Storing and Reproducing Educational Material

Abstract: The results of the research on reproduction of the educational material by 12-year old schoolchildren of with different levels of the development of the mnemonic abilities are produced in the article. The aim of the research was to study reproduction of the educational material by schoolchildren depending on their mnemonic abilities. It is shown that the efficiency of the direct and deferred reproduction of the educational material is a consequence of a system interaction of functional, operational and regulating mechanisms thus specifying a level of mnemonic abilities development.

Research on the Idea of One’s Own Age for 6–8 Year Old Children

Abstract: This article describes results of the two year research of the subjective idea of one’s own age and it’s estimation for children while moving from preschool age to primary school age. The work also describes the new method «Age Line» developed by the author for studying the adequacy of children’s estimation of own age. Data received in the research shows the important relations between children’s idea of their own age and intellectual level and gender.

Abstract: The article is dedicated to an etymological feature of German and Russian lexemes denoting the male line’s blood kinship. The main aim of this work is a complex study of linguistic and socio-cultural studying processes in their interaction within the framework of the comparative approach to language. The given approach allows revealing the semantic, emotional, stylistic and styled tones of the lexemes, reflecting national specifics.

Laughter Sources: Jury Odarchenko and Daniel Kharms

Abstract: The article is devoted to some features of philosophy of ridiculous by the two poets, J. Odarchenko, the little-known poet of the first wave of emigration, and the well-known Russian poet D. Kharms, the writer who was the head of poetic group OBERIU. In the article the problem of ridiculous is considered in detail, similarities and distinctions in approaches of the two authors to this problem and to its poetic implementation are analyzed. The specific relation to the ridiculous contains the elements of «absurd» attitude is shared by the two poets.

Understanding Culture as a Second Nature in the Eastern Christian Writers

Abstract: In spite of the famous philosophical proposition «culture is the second nature» its origins are not quite clear. While analyzing the historical and philosophical texts its connection with the spiritual tradition of the Christian East is specified. The Eastern Church authors use it for a religious and philosophical assessment of a present-day state of a human. «The second nature» in the language of holy fathers means the degeneration and unnatural state of a spiritual nucleus of a human – a personality. As a result of its activity or culture an artificial environment is created, «the second nature», where a spiritual crisis of a modern human and his civilization finds its origin.

Currency Regulation and Financial Policy of Russia in Globalization Environment

Abstract: The global economic crisis and intensifying globalization processes lead to the need for Russia to seek new ways and methods to control its monetary policy to overcome the consequences of the crisis. In these circumstances the authorities of many countries have resorted to currency interventions, rigorous protectionism and the depreciation of their currencies. In Russia there are three different views on state policies for foreign exchange regulation. The given paper describes these views and provides reasons for adopting each of them, as well as outcomes of it.

New Approaches to Economics in Modern University Education

Abstract: The article deals with the new approaches to economics in the context of the modernization of the actual university education in present conditions. The analysis covers the controversial aspects of the courses on economics. The necessity of including issues of the New Economy into the course is justified. New forms of tutoring the growing bulk of students’ research and out-of-class activities are proposed with the emphasis on creating complexes of teaching materials.
