The Greek Inscriptions about Quaestorship and Proquaestorship of Lucius Licinius Lucullus

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the four Greek inscriptions with the name Lucius Licinius Lucullus and with the mention of his quaestorship and proquaestorship (ταμίας and ἀντιταμίας). The author cites the translation of inscriptions’ texts, clarifies the inscriptions’ importance as a source for studying the proquaestors’ functions and status.

Practical Thinking and Professional Success

Abstract: The article deals with the peculiarities of practical thinking in the context of professional success. By the example of two professions: school psychologist and the investigator the author shows the impact of the activities on the peculiarities of a problem situation selection and its resolution in connection and how it is connected with professionals’ success.. During the study the author has found that in the work of investigators success is connected with the object-orientated thinking, while in the activity of the psychologist is subject-orientated.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the role of transgenerational factors, in particular the family myth, in the perception and interpretation of subjectively significant family events for three its generations. Authors prove the feasibility and efficiency of the use of eventdriven approach to the study of the family, as well as in the provision of psychological support to its members. The article presents the results of family myth impact on the subjective semantics of vital events.

Gender-Role Identity of Pre-School Children from Full and One-Parent Families

Abstract: The article covers the problem of gender-role identity. Its types are singled out, influence of a family on formation of gender-role identity at pre-school age is analyzed. It presents the results of the empirical research of features of gender-role identity of senior preschool children brought up in full or one-parent families. It is revealed that gender-role identity of children from full families differs from that of children from one-parent families. The differences are displayed in the knowledge vs lack of knowledge of gender-role behaviour (of a husband/wife), abilities of the child to drawing up identification gender and age sequence, idea of an attractive and unattractive female (male) image, and also in the idea of children’s ‘ gender roles and of distribution of duties in the family

The Emotional-Personal Peculiarities of Orphans with Mental Deprivation

Abstract: The article raises the problem of formation of emotional characteristics and personality traits of children-orphans. Of particular interest in the emotional sphere are differences between children, talking to the children attending kindergartens vs orphanages. With the aim of psychological correction of deformations of social emotions of orphans, an experimental study was made. Analysis of the data showed that children from the orphanage are characterised by deformation in the emotional sphere, which influences the development of personal structure of a child. This means that most orphans are inclined to aggressive reactions, antisocial behavior, conflict, they also suffer from neurotic tendencies and difficulties in communication.

Abstract: The article describes composition and structure of the communicative vocabulary as lexical and idiomatic category in the modern Russian language. It is shown that the communicative vocabulary and phraseology are presented in the lexical and phraseological system of Russian as extensive and well-structured lexical and phraseological field «Communication», the core of the field is the lexical component, while the phraseology forms the periphery of the field.

Abstract: This article analyzes the problem of formation of «secondary language identity», its characteristics and conditions of development. The research aims at studying the changes in the language system under the influence of multiculturalism and integration processes. It becomes essential to address some issues related to the factors of successful second language acquisition, not only at the conversational level, but also at the level of formation of the secondary language of the individual.
