A cycle of events with international scientists was held in YarSU

On June 25th the meetings with the following scientists took place in YaSU: Michael Aschner, PhD., Professor of Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University; Monica M. Bastos Paoliello, PhD, Senior Professor, Graduate Program in Public Health, Center of Health Sciences, State University of Londrina (UEL), Parana, Brazil.
The meeting with the administration of the University and the Department was devoted to the perspective of the mutual international cooperation and academic mobility, differences in the educational systems and structures, programmes of personnel reserve, preparation of young specialists.
The panel discussion at the Department of Biology and Ecology was held to discuss the investigations held by the universities in the sphere health effect by heavy metals, modern technologies in screening, that can help learn about the excess or lack of some element in a human organism, its interrelation with a row of illnesses.
